HIP and jPOS Solutions Formalize Relationship

May 15th, 2006 - Hanover Innovative Payment, LLC and jPOS Solutions announced yesterday the formalization of the working relationship that has been in place for several years… “jPOS Solutions and HIP have direct development, operational and project management experience in most areas of the financial transaction processing business: from the point of interaction through the entire processing cycle to settlement” said Chris Stowe, Managing Director, Hanover Innovative Payment. “By formalizing our collaboration we are better able to provide out clients with a complete set of services including: project design review, system security analysis, advanced jPOS programming support, systems integration support, system & process documentation, training materials development, development to “live” operations support and ongoing institution level support.”

The HIP team has a 12-year record of processing transactions in the United States. Its members have founded and managed full-service transaction processors directly connected to the card associations offering credit, debit, e-commerce and pre-paid transaction products as well as several closed-loop stored-value products.

The jPOS Solutions team developed the jPOS software and founded the jPOS.org project in 1999. The Project offers open source software under the terms of an OSI-approved license. The jPOS Solutions team develops and implements commercial applications using the jPOS code and framework.
